Hello I'm Back!

Suuupper Long time no see and post minna! I was busy in my homeschool studies and I was also busy writing fanfics. Have you ever heard of fanfics? Well it's a fan-made fiction story made by fans. 

Anyways, I will be updating A LOT soon. I will be also starting to make another blog, an otaku blog. So please bear with me for a while (if there is anyone of waiting for my updates though) as I will be organizing the posts that I will be posting soon.

Bulak: A Survivor's Story (Part 2)

Haloo to whoever is reading this post right now! Now as promised, I shall continue Bulak, my pet cat's story. To those who haven't read the first part yet, you can read it here: http://rionapages.blogspot.com/2013/06/bulak-survivors-story-part-1_10.html

Now continuing from part one, I said that we had a dog whose name was Prilla right? But before I jump to the part of the story concerning Prilla, I want everyone to know that we had another pet cat before Bulak and Jet-li, the cat's name was Magnet-o. He kept on sticking on our legs that's why we called him "Magnet-o".

We found this cat one rainy night at our back door meowing loudly crying for help because it was rainy. It continued to cry every night until the rainy week passed through. After the rainy week passed through, he started bugging us and circling us when we go outside the house. Well we finally got fond at him and he became our pet.

While we were taking care of Magnet-o, Bruce-Lee, Jet-Li's mom, arrived carrying a little kitten which was hers. We were admiring how cute the kitten was at our back door along with Bruce-lee, Magnet-o, and Ice. While we were admiring the kitten, Ice left and we left the scene too because we were called by our grandfather at the front door. While we were conversing with our grandfather we suddenly heard a cry! We rushed to the back door only to see......

Bulak: A Survivor's Story (Part 1)

Minna-san, konichiwa! Privet vsem! Annyeong hasibnikka! Dàjiā hǎo! Hallo an alle!  

Hello everyone! How are you today? As for me, I am currently working out my homeschool studies---I will also be working on the new sections of this blog, but for now I'd like to share a story that I saw with my own eyes......

This is our pet-kitten Bulak, (We disturbed him in his sleep that's why his face is like this). Today is his month-birthday by the way, he just turned 9 months today. He was born on September 11, 2012 with a very tragic, hard life....

Bulak was with us since he was in the tummy of his mother. His mother is really a stray and mischievous cat that was hated by our family....because she kept on begging for food, meowing and crying continuously, and sneaking in our house for food. We later named her "Collete" because she was ma-kulet, (tagalog for naughty).

Collete had a lot of suitors, whether black, white, orange and white, or grey and white....she loved flirting around with the cats and the suitors would fight over her.

But Collete, the mom, was quite wise in choosing her suitor. She chose the white, princely cat among her suitors.... We remarked, 'aba foreigner ang pinili ni Collete ah!". Now the white cat, which we named "Ice king" ,(suppose to be ice man from X-men), mated w/ Collete. Colette became pregnant.

.

While these things were happening, we were taking care of a grey-striped, stray kitten which we named 'Jet-Li". We named that cat Jet-li because his mother's name was Bruce Lee/Li. Bruce Li is by the way another "concubine" of *Ice king. We believed that Jet-Li's father was also Ice, but we were not sure of this. 

My father didn't like Jet-Li because he really disliked cats. He didn't like cats because back when he was a kid, a cat stole his lunch when he was asleep. So our house is like a haven for cats, but also a terror for cats when my dad is there.

Now why we were waiting for Collete's kittens to be born and taking care of Jet-Li...we have slightly forgotten that our family had a dog...

and as we all know, dogs and cats fight.....

A LOT.

Chains and Buttons

Don't you just love chains, buttons, laces, ribbons, and all the other little accessories that add brightness and beauty to your clothes? Well I do, and chains and buttons inspired me to draw a fashion line of it.

Here are the outfits I drew :)

The outfits I made had characteristics too that can be shown through their style of clothes and posing.
The first one is a cool, serious type; the second one is the pretty, girly type; and the third is the energetic, fun type. There is still one more though, that I haven't drawn yet, which is i the nerdy, studious type.

The outfits that i draw though are for girls because I really have a hard time drawing boys. :)

Style Me Up! Designer Studio: Pink and Black

It all started when I tried drawing on my lil' cousin's Style Me Up! Designer Studio: Pink and Black kit. I tried drawing some and I really loved it! I even started to draw fashion clothes without the help of the kit.

Kimono-inspired

This was the very first one I made. i named this outfit, "Stella". I copied the pattern of the dress here though, which was also from the kit.

I didn't want to color the other two because they are too nice! I didn't copy anything from the kit  for the other two photos, though I did get inspired.

I'm telling you, drawing clothes are really fun and it boosts your creativeness and imagination.

GDC learning nuggets--"Show Us the Ancient Paths"

"Show us the ancient paths"- This verse retained in my mind after the Global Discipleship Conference that was held in Manila, Philippines on May 22-25, 2013.

The whole Bible verse is found in

(Jeremiah 6:16)

"This is what the Lord says:

'Stand at the crossroads and look;
ask for the ancient paths,
ask where the good way is, and walk in it,
and you will find rest for your souls.
But you said, ‘We will not walk in it.’ "

What is this 'ancient path' that is mentioned in this verse?

This ancient path is the righteous path which God wants us to take; the path which is forgotten by the generation today. Stand at the crossroads and ask God for the ancient path; the path which Noah took, the path which Abraham walked. the path which Moses chose, the path which David lived, the path which the disciples, apostles, and prophets endured, and the path which Jesus embraced and accepted.

This is the same path that we should commit ourselves to. Let us take up the cross and follow Him, who is waiting at the end of the path.

What I Have Learned So Far...

Hi guys! I said right from the start of my blog that I will share to you the things I have learned as I journey in this life of mine that God has given me, but I still haven't posted something that I have learned specific. So to sum up all the things I have learned, I will now post it in doodles. Hope that you can learn something from it. ^_^

 And that'ts it! I can't say that I have fully practiced and applied this learnings, but I know that God is working on me little-by-little. We are all working-in-progress as we progress through the ups-and-downs of life, but know that whatever happens, God is there with you always.

Trying To Picture What's On My Head

The cat is away and the mouse will play!

My older sister is the cat and I am the mouse. What do I do when she is in school? I do a lot of stuff...including playing around with her laptop! When I see a dress or clothes, I get inspired and imagine  a character wearing those clothes then I draw it and then I try to wear it! Have you ever tried that? When you imagined a character and was inspired to draw it, but failed drawing it exactly?

I was trying to look for the blue dress I had, but failed and i also didn't find the accessories to match, so when I tried to dress it up it turned out like this:

 This one I edited again through picmonkey and turned my clothes into green, but I guess white is nice also so  I didn't color the other one green.

Then I tried to dress-up another "charcter" in my mind. (still going to work out the drawing)

When my sister came back from school, I showed the pictures to my sister and she laughed and edited them again through photoshop... Well she is the artistic one between the two of us.

Oh and for your information, these pics were self-shots through webcam. It was really hard to pose with only 3 seconds to do so. And I was also in a 'squat' position while I posed because I didn't fit in the screen... :0 so much for playing with my Ate's webcam.
